THE APPROACH

From a lighting sketch
to the room itself.

The design responds to the exhibition’s photographs, LED displays and the museum’s existing architecture. The lighting layout began with a hand-drawn plan of positions and aiming directions around the columns.

On site, beam tests through glass and focusing in the gallery helped balance the exhibition light with the LED walls and ambient light. The following panels document that process, the space in use and the exhibition credits.
